Managed domain licence and use
Clear information about your privacy and use of our service.
Before reserving a domain
MailTemp lets you find an available domain and obtain an exclusive-use licence for the period selected at checkout. You may choose between one and five years, subject to registrar availability and conditions.
What are you purchasing?
Your payment grants an exclusive licence to use the domain within MailTemp, create the addresses allowed by your plan and receive email during the purchased term. MailTemp remains the registered holder and technical administrator.
Term, price and renewal
Before payment, you will see the selected term and its total price. The initial domain purchase is not an automatically renewing domain subscription. Before expiry, you may review the renewal price and decide whether to extend the licence.
Voluntary release
Once six months have passed since activation, you may stop using and release the domain from your account. Releasing it permanently ends your exclusive licence and frees the account slot. MailTemp retains the paid registration and may place the domain in its internal market for the remaining term.
What happens after release or non-renewal?
Addresses connected to the domain stop receiving email for your account. Amounts already paid are neither refunded nor converted to wallet balance because registration and operating costs have already been incurred. The domain may be offered to another customer under a new licence.
Responsibilities
You must use the domain and its addresses in accordance with applicable law, MailTemp's general terms and registrar policies. MailTemp may suspend service in cases of fraud, abuse, non-payment or breach while preserving the domain's auditable history.
